my x hometown: Welcome

I first decided on the area i was going to pick a location in my area that had a bit of character to it, ( by that i mean an area that had residential, commercial, institutional and educational). I then decided on the title "MY BLOSSOMING HOMETOWN" because there's currently always some new development or refurbishment of an existing site happening in my town, so i gave it this name because, i feel the city is still blooming into something magnificent, hence the term my blossoming home town.

For the front page i decided to draw one the most popular monuments in my town "monument to the 3rd Conference of Non-Aligned countries".
I then spent the remaining weeks adding the zoning,road circulation, building typology, infrastructure, softscape, culture, activities, favourite component and ideas for improvement. In the final week i taped my A4 documentstogether to create the pamphlet

OUTCOME

Overall i was happy with the way the final pamphlet turned out, considering all the stress over completing all the assignments that were happening at the time.

REVIEW

Throughout this assignment i have learnt how to many new things about my town such as road names for instance. i believe this assignment has helped me in terms of my researching skills in finding accurate information and pictures on the internet. I also learnt how to make a pamphlet out of A4 size papers which i think might come in useful in the future. The self research also made me independent and taught me to learn how to manage time to ensure i completed the assignment before the deadline.
