ELEMENTS IN THE NATURAL AND BUILT ENVIRONMENTS
THE NATURE JOURNAL
We were asked to watch the documentary "Earth (2007)" and record factual findings, personal experiences, observation and thoughts on an A4 size document based on the documentary.
NATURE DIALOG
For this assignment we were placed in groups. My group consisted of 4 members; Daryl, Alexandra, Malaaha and Myself. This was one of the first group works assigned this semester. Each group was to come out with a short video of no more than 5 minuets, talking about the their assigned area. example the natural setting.
MY "X" HOMETOWN
For this task we had to make a foldable pamphlet, with a maximum of 10 pages about or hometowns. We were required to study the Built environment, ambiance/ environment, built components,social and culture through tangible and intangible components.
INVESTIGATION OF URBAN SPACE
For the final assignment we were asked to investigate urban spaces. This assignment was broken down into 2 parts A and B. For part A we were required to investigate the difference between urban, suburban and rural area areas. Part B required us to investigate The assigned area given to us (Times Square New York)
TAYLOR'S GRADUATE CAPABILITIES
After completing all the assignments I believe i have acquired the cognitive capabilities because of all the research I have carried out in order to complete these assignments. I got soft skills such as TGC 4.1 after all the group work i did i am now a lot more confident in a group setting even though the work was only carried out online. I picked up Digital literacy after completing mulitiple canva documents and using different software applications for meetings and the final TGC i picked up this semester is Interpersonal skills 6.0 because this foundation course is very demanding i had to learn how to balance my time and try be on top of every assignment.
BHUTAN VIRTUAL SITE VISIT REFLECTION
Because of the corona virus pandemic it was not possible for a to physically go on a field trip so our tutor moved the trip online. we had to record 5 things we learnt from the site visit and how can we improve our country in the sense of zero-carbon-count.
